Donald Trump says Russian Federation will ‘push hard’ for Democrats during November elections

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch Mc Connell speaks to reporters at the Capitol as fallout continued over U.S. President Donald Trump's Helsinki summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Washington U.S

In another worrying trend for Mr Trump, the poll revealed rising support for Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian meddling in the United States 2016 election.

According to a Quinnipiac University poll taken after a summit between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, 51% of American voters said Russia had compromising information, while 35% did not believe it.

Putin himself acknowledged he wanted Trump to win the 2016 presidential race during a joint news conference with Trump after their July 16 summit in Helsinki. By way of comparison, in the Post-Schar School survey, 87 percent of Republicans said they approved of Trump's overall job performance as president.

"The US senators' initiative to toughen the anti-Russian sanctions is yet another manifestation of the anti-Russian agony".

Trump's tweet ends with "They definitely don't want Trump".

Trump explained that, because of his tough stance on Putin, "they will be pushing very hard for the Democrats".

His scepticism drew a quick formal statement, nearly a rebuttal, from Mr Trump's director of national intelligence, Dan Coats . On Tuesday, he said this: "The sentence should have been "I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be" Russian Federation ".

US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo will find one of his rare appearances on Capitol Hill rough going Wednesday as he seeks to soothe the ire of senators exasperated by President Donald Trump's strategy on everything from Russian Federation and NATO to North Korea.

A day later, Trump was forced to attempt to walk back a comment in which he said "I don't see any reason why it would be" Russian Federation that had hacked the election.

Even with control now, Republicans have had difficulty approving Trump's legislative agenda and likely would have even more trouble should Democrats take over one or both houses. Speaker Paul Ryan said on Tuesday that Mr Putin would not be invited to address Congress should he accept Mr Trump's invitation, calling it a privilege reserved for allies. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, rather than immediately dismissing the idea, told reporters last week that the president would be meeting with his team on the matter and would let reporters know when the White House had a announcement on the matter.

However, despite her quick acclimation, it seems she "has found certain rules in the royal household hard to understand". She decided on a sheer pastel pink for her trip down the aisle that was reminiscent of Kate Middleton wedding day digits.

The president wavers often on whether or not Russian Federation is trying to interfere with US politics.

And despite the backlash, the incident doesn't appear to have affected the president's popularity, with Kevin McLaughlin from Cogent Strategies Principle stating on an MSNBC panel on Sunday night that Russian Federation doesn't appear to be a key issue for Trump supporters.

Since then, Russian forces backing the Assad regime and US forces battling the Islamic State in Syria since 2014 have maintained an uneasy detente with both sides attempting to keep out of each other's paths in the country. While Interpol can't force a member country to arrest a given person who is under a "Red Notice", the country must decide what legal value a Red Notice holds within its own borders, a serious concern McFaul has about Mr. Trump's willingness to side with Putin.

But the shift is undeniable - as smart devices proliferate, broadcast television viewing sessions fell to just around three hours a week on average.
