Huawei Canada exec leaves post as scrutiny of company grows

Poland's state security agency arrested a Chinese national and a Polish national on Friday over allegations of spying, Poland's state news agency PAP reported.

Britain's largest mobile provider BT said last month it would remove Huawei equipment from its cellular network after the foreign intelligence service called the company a security risk.

There has been no public evidence that Huawei's equipment has been used for spying and the firm has repeatedly denied the claims, but several western countries have restricted Huawei's access to their markets and have pressured Canada to do the same.

Following the U.S., Australia and New Zealand have also banned Huawei from supplying 5G networking equipment out of fear of a national security breach.

Huawei's worldwide struggles have continued after one of its employees was arrested in Poland on the allegations of cyberespionage. A BBC report said that Huawei "told the BBC it was aware of the situation and was looking into it".

He added that NY has a public health insurance option, MetroPlus , that the city aims to improve, expand and support through NYC Care.

He said no further details would be released about the case because it is classified and the investigation is ongoing.

Poland's cyber-security chief, Karol Okonski, told RMF Radio that ideally the European Union and North Atlantic Treaty Organisation would be "as consistent as possible" on Huawei.

TVPInfo named the two accused as Weijing W and Piotr D, in line with Polish law which prohibits the publications of full names of those detained.

According to a LinkedIn profile, Mr Wang is a sales director at the firm and worked as an attache at China's embassy in Poland from 2006-11.

Bradley spoke candidly about the relationship Huawei Canada has had with the country over the past 10 years, emphasizing years of work would be thrown away if the government decides to ban the Shenzhen, China-based telecommunications and smartphone giant from involvement in the future network infrastructure plans of Canada's carriers.

Cody Parkey's game-winning field goal attempt hits upright, crossbar and fails
I hit the post, what, six times this year, and I hit it twice on that one", he said. And his status becomes one of their biggest offseason question marks.

Norway's comments come at a time in the country is seeking to stamp out vulnerabilities in its telecoms networks. She was reportedly charged with fraud for telling the UK-based banking company HSBC that the Chinese tech giant was in full compliance with United States sanctions against Iran, while one of its subsidiaries was not complying with the restrictions.

Ties between the U.S. and China have become increasingly strained since Canadian authorities arrested a Huawei executive, Meng Wanzhou, in December at the request of USA authorities. They also arrested a Polish employee of the local subsidiary of European communications giant Orange. Orange told the AP it did not know if the suspicions against its employee were related to his work at Orange. US prosecutors have accused her of misleading banks about transactions linked to Iran, putting the banks at risk of violating USA sanctions.

Canada arrested Meng Wanzhou, the daughter of the company founder, as she transited through the country.

Huawei has been blocked in the USA since 2012, when a House Intelligence Committee report found it was a security risk and recommended that the government and private companies stop buying its network equipment.
